Lindy alternatives for teams, grouped by the job they fit

· Avi Agola, The Seattle Compute Company

People search for "Lindy alternatives" for different reasons. Some want something cheaper. Some want an agent that lives in Slack. Some want to build their own. So this page groups the options by the job they fit, rather than ranking them.

Smith is one of them, and we make it, so weigh that. Everything we say about the other products comes from their own pages, linked below and read on 2026-10-29. Where a page doesn't say, we write "Not stated" rather than guess.

Lindy, for reference

Lindy describes itself as an AI employee that plugs into your tools, learns how you work, and takes work off your plate. It works from Slack, iMessage, email, a Chrome extension and a web app, and it's priced in credits. Lindy's own home page and pricing page disagreed on the team price when we read them. We used the pricing page.

If you want an AI teammate in Slack

Smith. Each agent has its own Slack handle, email address, accounts and computer with a browser, and every action is traced to the agent that took it. It's free to start, with custom plans for teams. It fits small teams that want a coworker for research and follow-up behind logins. AI agents for small teams shows it in use.

[Viktor](https://viktor.com/). Viktor calls itself an AI employee that lives in Slack and Microsoft Teams, with its own computer in the cloud. Credits are shared by the team with no per-seat charge. It fits teams that want a teammate in chat and are happy to pay by credit.

If you want to build your own agents

[Relevance AI](https://relevanceai.com). A platform for building agents, aimed at enterprise teams. It lists audit logs and agent tracing. Pricing is enterprise only, with no public numbers. It fits organizations with someone to build and maintain the agents.

[Zapier Agents](https://zapier.com/agents). Agents across Zapier's 9,000+ apps, billed in activities. It fits teams already living in Zapier who want agents that act across those apps.

[Microsoft Copilot Studio](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-copilot/microsoft-copilot-studio). A no-code platform for custom agents, workflows and apps, with audit logs flowing to Microsoft Purview. It needs an Azure subscription. It fits organizations already on Microsoft.

If you want an enterprise knowledge workspace

[Coworker](https://coworker.ai). An enterprise workspace built on what it calls organizational memory, available through its own apps and through MCP inside other assistants. Pricing is quote-based. It fits large companies that want company-wide context in the assistants they already use. We read coworker.ai; other products have similar names.

How to pick

Ask what you want the agent to do. If the answer is "work a job for the team and leave a record," a coworker model fits. If it's "automate steps between our apps," a builder fits. If it's "answer questions with all our company data," an enterprise workspace fits.

If you're not sure which you need, what is an AI employee explains the difference between employees, chatbots and automation. Prices on our pricing page.
